Questions about Racing Clutch
#26
When it comes to dealer issues - try and make friends with the service writer (the guy that books your car in) and the technician - if you can. I have done this, and I talk straight about upgrades. I even had a conversation with the manager of the whole dealership, because he has an RX-8 as well and HE was thinking about putting a GREDDY in it.
If you are not going to race or turbo/supercharge/nitrous your car, then I really would consider leaving the stock clutch in there. The stock clutch is really nice to drive with and I'd hate for you to get a stiffer clutch when you don't need to. However, if you want to continue down that road because you may be putting more power down later, then see if you can find a local member on the boards who has an upgraded clutch.
With everything you want done. You should be able to drop your car off first thing in the morning and pick it up before they close.
