Never heard of it ... but Racing Beat tested with various muffler/resonator/cat combos and found a whopping 8 HP max to be gained and unbelieveable noise levels by removing everything from behind the header. I think your sig says it all ....

The qtec cutout is meant more for Turbo cars rather than naturally aspirated cars. Turbo cars perform best with zero backpressure while there are gains to be made(not large) with a well tuned exhaust over just no exhaust on a naturally aspirated car. You would see a performance gain over the stock exhaust, but it wouldn't be desireable to use it on the street very often and the gains would be very small.
