I was going to go with the BHR midpipe because i like to support the really hands on vendors but i was just not patient enough. Im thinking about buying another catback just because at the rate im going with catbacks i might as well try them all paired up with this midpipe .

noob question ... don't wanna jack thread....
OP, you said that you have not gotten a CEL, so I assume that your EMS is stock
I read somewhere that just putting on a midpipe (and cat-back) leans out full throttle to dangerous places ... Am I wrong?
or is this safe to do with stock engine management?

i have a stock EMS and my engine actually blew up about a week after installing this midpipe but im 99.9% sure that it is just a coincidence because if midpipes caused this then there would be alot more blown 8's. The tuning im guessing you are talking about is the tuning that is done after you install a midpipe to lean out some of the fuel for more power.

You can install a midpipe without a tune and be perfectly fine. My engine failure was due to a coil. Just by installing a midpipe on the stock ecu tune your not going to cause any harm. However if you want to get the most out of the midpipe then a tune will do that for you.

ok, question for those with the RB dual resonated. Do you get much in the way of noise from the header connection area? I have the Mazsport unit, and get a lot of exhaust noise at the header connection, almost sounds like an exhaust leak, very flat, and kinda unflattering at idle and low RPM's...now, at WOT it wails, and sounds great, just wondering about the low RPM and idle sound from the RB unit, from under the car.

I pulled the whole unit last night, and yep, header gasket, the top right side was gone...it was brand new when I put it in...so I must have f'd it up...oh well, its not going back on.
