racing beat catless pipe
got 3 questions about the racing beat test pipe before i buy it. my friend's got a eclipse gsx and got straight pipe for it and it doesnt sound really good.... im planning on buying the racing beat dual exhaust so im just wondering if that makes it better sounding.
i know rotary shoots flame outta the exhaust very easily if u got a testpipe. but HOW easily?? wut rpm?
where did everyone order their test pipe?? the cheapest i found is on the RB website.... and it's 240 bux... that's alota money just for a pipe....

I have the B&B midpipe. Personally I consider them all the same (Unless the pipe walls are really thin). As you said, it's just a pipe.
How it sounds is subjective, I consider the sound with the catless midpipe worse than with the cat. It doesn't add to the character of the car.

rev up and bounce throttle at 5k. or go full out in 3rd till redline, let off gas and push in clutch let revs fall to bout 5 and jab throttle that should make a nice flame with a midpipe. it sure as hell did on mine
