Why not? If you don't, the ECU will learn that you are leaning the AFR with such things as the Canzoomer and the REVi. It adjusts the long-term fuel trim to compensate - Taking away your gained HP.
From Mazda Maniac:
There are two reset procedures, one for the NVRAM and the other for the KAM. Neither will erase your radio presets
1) With the key in the off position, press and hold the odometer reset button and turn the key to on;
Continue to hold the odo button until the odometer reads "TEST" and then release.
2) Turn the key to off and repeat step one.
This will reset the entire PCM except the KAM which contains the sensor profiles amongst other things. You can reset it with the familiar procedure:
1) Turn the key to on
2) Depress the brake pedal rapidly 20 times in a row until the oil pressure gauge sweeps to halfway and back again.

Count me in depending on price and if one of you kind Gentlemen offers to ship it out to Australia for me i will cover all shipping costs etc :D
With over 40 buyers racing beat should give us at least 20% of the retail price .
ROTARYMANIAC or whoever negotiates ?
As part of your negotiation for a BETTER PRICE dont forget to mention to JIm Langer or Jim Tanner from racingbeat that most of the forum group buyers for the REVI INTAKE will also be getting racing beats .......... Cold Air Ram unit .........to go along with the intake so really they are getting DOUBLE the sales . :D
Racing beat expects to have the Cold Air Ram unit complete by around november 05
Love the power of the forum for group buys
cheers

Hey guys. Just called up racing beat and they said "no discount" . They told me to try some dealers, so i just called mazcare as well. I believe i talked to Allen, but he said we should definitely be able to get a discount with 50 people. Hes going to talk to the owner (Charlie i presume) and get back to me. I'll post the results as soon as i get them. Lets hope for the best. I'll try jason at the rx8store next.

Charlie called back
Charlie called back and we had a nice talk. He said the deal would be most beneficial to people on the EAST COAST purely because of the extra shipping costs it would take to ship back to the west coast. He currently sells for 295 + shipping (this is without a discount), so he needs to check and see what kind of a discount RB can give him so that he can in turn give us one. For now shipping to the east coast from racing beat and then him would cost about 25 dollars, so he would like to get a better deal on price of the unit and shipping from RB. Either way, people on the West Coast would still be getting a better deal than buying from RB themselves, and would be helping out others on the East Coast. Now comes the discount. He told me not to quote him, because he wasnt sure, but he said with 50 or 60 people he should be able to make one. What he needs now are the addresses of people who are interested. The shipping is the main problem.
Keep in mind that RB sells the revi for 320 + shipping. He sells for 295 + shipping. With the discount, even people on the West Coast will be getting a better price than from racing beat.
I will start a new thread in which we need to have the names and addresses of people interested. He needs addresses to check where he would need to ship each unit. Please post your name and address if you are interested!!
