Radiator Hose

Well, I replaced my radiator hose(and radiator) yesterday. I got the Agency Power hose. I thought that it replace *all* radiator hoses .... I guess Im wrong.

The Bottom, yes, its just 1 piece and that part is done.

but the upper, it only replace last *1/2* of them, up to the metal bracket, the part that from the engine to the bracket is still using the old rubber hose.

Is there a product out there that can let me replace this part as well ? Blitz Cooling performance seems to be able to do that. it seems like the right piece, but Im not sure.

Ideas anyone ?

Call Agency first and ask them what's up with their incomplete kit. As far as the Blitz, I'm pretty sure it has an opening for a coolant temp bung that you'd need to plug up if not used. Also, might be the same size as the Agency. Maybe see if Samco has something. Summit racing sells pieces to make your own as well.

EDIT: Nevermind - no 8 kit yet: http://www.samcosport.com/us/samco.asp?make=mazda
Here's the universal parts though: http://www.samcosport.com/us/raceparts.asp

Summit or JEGS will have a universal hose that may work. I know that kinda sucks but still better than the OEM rubber hose.

+1 on calling AP or your vendor and bitching. Make sure that it isn't missing a part. I do know in all the pictures I've seen of the kit it only shows 2 hoses.

The AgencyPower rad hose kit consists of the 2 hoses mentioned, don't know of any other hose kit which does anything different.

Looking at the Blitz hose it looks no different in shape. Sorry. The good news is that at least that's the cooler coolant right?

I know, its not incomplete or anything, thats what they came with, only 2 hoses. and I dont understand why. if this is *complete* then I have no idea what is *incomplete*. I mean come on.

wtf is Agency power thinking ... maybe they just

- oh, the hose ends here (point at the metal bracket), thats all we have to make.

when you look at the upper hose, it seems that they could've just made a hose long enough, so I can just take the metal bracket out all together .... geeze ....
