when translating the web pages, it seems the after means it was tested with the 09 in mind, if you look at the pictures provided thats not an 08 or earlier rear, also it says something about having papers for noise restriction with it. as for the s chamber, its the new and improved, the new superdolphin is supposed to have better hp in the upper ranges it seems while maintaining the same in the lower rpm ranges.

how would that happen. has something changed in the motor between 08 and 09 other than a third oil injector..

i would believe more tq and more hp in the upper ranges only if i was at the dyno and did the exhaust change myself..

btw. the exhaust has not been on the dyno by anyone here.

'before' just means the previous version of rx8 (04-08), 'after' means 09; click on it and the name will be shown on the top. Those 2 japanese characters basically just mean that. the translation definitely sucks.

shoot, x a million is more like ti. I love the RE stuff but dang those parts are mega pricey, I've learned you get what you pay for and all, but to me I have a hard time accepting his parts are that much better than other authentic but slightly less epxensive stuff.

 

i gotta say honestly the main reason i wanted it was cause no one else had it. that i saw on the club. then the week before i got mine, i saw another guy up in washington post about getting the whole exhaust and intake....and it was wb too... but i still love it, it looks different, sounds different. i'm well pleased with my purchase on the exhaust. also kinda why i don't like the new exhaust, its just oval....

thanx for the info guys never thought about it.. anyway what does the super chamber mean? all i can see the difference from this pic is the pipe thats look like a resonator than a straight pipe?
