you go buy that and let me know how that turns out for you. if its legit then i might be interested but as of now it looks like a typical generic ebay exhaust. doubt youll get much performance. more noise than anything considering the 3.5" OUTLET

I say buy it... 250 bones is worth the risk. Sometimes knock off parts get it right and it doesn't catch fire while on your car... mostly because you never got them installed cause they neveri fit right.
Stainless scrap prices are on the way up too, that way you'll have a buyer when you decide to get a proper exhaust.

Op buy it and let us know how it works out for you. I on the other hand tend to stick with known manufactures when modding my car. I choose a name you can trust when it comes to exhaust. GReddy is a reputable company who has been in business for decades.

Dont do it... LEave that 250 in the bank and keep your eye out for someone on here that is selling a known brand exhaust that you know will sound good and wont break.
That exhaust is a waste and theirs a reason its $199...

up to 20 hp ?
u be lucky if you DON'T LOSE any hp.
plus hmm not sure what kind of material they use inside, if its fiber-glass kind of crap, which is most likely the case with a 199 ebay exhaust, in as fast as couple of hours ur exhaust will be loud as f**k. simply bcuz the stuff inside has melt.
+ I seriously doubt its a 100% bolt on ... good luck fitting it the first time

I don't know.
You can get faster from swapping out the OEM exhaust for aftermarket. No necessarily more power, but with weight reduction....
But just removing the cat-back completely is by far a better weight savings, it will be just as annoying, and it won't cost you anything.
Unless you insist.
In which case I will send you a bill for only $99 for providing the suggestion.

lol im not planning on buying this exhaust, if i plan on getting one it will probably be a custom magnaflow or a greddy se. i just wanted to share my findings with the peeps here in the forum.
trust me i know 20hp is a huge claim to be making from a "shiny exhaust".
the funny thing is when obx first came out it was in the same situation as this exhaust, it was around the same price and it turned out to be quite an amazing exhaust. and it looks similar. it might just be an obx knockoff lol

Wow, so many people talking **** here!
These types of parts aren't always a wash. Doesn't anyone remember the obx-arrrrrr thread? Somehow he was praised for trying that out when everyone manages to poke fun here. Interesting...

For 200 bucks, you're halfway there to get a name brand used exhaust off the forums here... you know it'll fit, you know it won't be junk...
If you want to gamble don't listen to anyone else on here then feel free to make a thread about your awesome find with a sound clip and pics of how it fits up and how good the welds look.
Those are the factors everyone will want to know anyway. Most people here would rather just do it right the first time and buy from an established brand. If you don't care about that, then go for it.

As long as you can get it on and it doesn't hurt the car then I would go for it. Many people prefer certain manufacturers and want proven performance. The stated performance and horsepower gains mean nothing to me if it doesn't make the car faster or handle better. I don't think it matters if it really does give you 20 hp or not if your car isn't faster.

OBX is atleast a brand... they're know to be cheap but for some stuff, they're okay... never the best, but the cheapest.

That said, I personally wouldn't pay $250 for it. Just giving some $0.02 to the other side of the argument
