I gave that guy the ability to talk to RX-8 PCMs to modify about four constants only. He then used what I gave him to build a reflasher WITHOUT permission to use my work product. I posted a note on that thread with more details.

It sounds like sour grapes and I guess it is. I just hate people lying to my face and then making money from my work.

This is also why I posted the $1000 scanner software challenge.

You're really starting to sound like a broken record, not the best way to win a marketing war ... how about giving it a rest and letting the products speak for themselves?

 

I just picked up my new DataLogger from EFIDude. It is awesome and it did not cost me an arm and a leg. They tell me I can get the reflash personality for the tool in a few weeks.

 

I have one coming in few days. We'll see...........

I spend $150 on a Saturday night out, so, i will just make this Saturday a Blockbuster night (my girl wont mind).

Oh and Lola, your boy (efidude) deleted his thread describing the release of his product, why is that?

 

I got tagged a couple of weeks ago for spamming by talking about the Logger in too many places. I responded by apologizing and asking the moderator to drop EFIDude a note about how to announce within the rules. I figure I am a guest on the forum and would prefer that I do things the right way. I suspect the EFIDudes feel the same way.

No one got in touch with EFIDude. However, they did yank ALL of his posts so I guess you just need to look elsewhere until the dude can get it fixed.

I did just speak with Cam over at Pettit Racing. They are a stocking distributor for the DataLogger. He also confirmed that the same piece of hardware is the reflasher; it just has a different personality on it. Lastly, he told me it is the same stuff he has been using for almost a year.

Check out the Pettit Racing web site. Cam said he would have something up there shortly.
