REVi and A/C on = Idling issues?
This happened very sporadically the other day. I had my A/C on for the first time ever since I installed the REVi + ram air duct. Sitting at a light, the RPM suddenly crashed <800 RPMs, bounced back up and down again. Naturally, I feathered the gas to keep it up so that the car doesn't stall. I got home and checked for any loose wires/plugs, everything was okay. Tried to test it again, and idle was as rough as before the REVi install. Anyone with a similar experience?

FWIW -- I also have the REVi and Ram Air Duct. My car in general idles smoother with them but does every once in a while, it will sputter at idle and then catch itself. Doesn't do it regularly but enough that it doesn't really surprise me. It has never stalled and I have never been concerned with it. I have run the A\C using the defroster and that doesn't seem to be a factor in the idle.
I am not an expert but perhaps you should check your MAF. take it out, clean it, reinstall it...

I dont think it actually would have stalled, if it did you have something going on other than the intake. To really narrow it doen first clean the MAF, if that doesnt help try putting the stock airbox in and see if it goes away.

Look at the plug, the red cap you installed. Also check for an air leak.
I'm sure you'll find something along these lines as someone else complained and after they examined their install the cap was missing/cracked.

The cap was the first place I checked. It's in good shape, fits nice and snug. I even bought extras from autozone in case it got lost or damaged in transit. I haven't had the need to turn on the A/C so I haven't had any idling issues since.

I'm glad to update that I no longer have this issue. Now quite sure what caused the problem, however I cleaned the box, and clean/recharged the filter. With the filter out, I was able to seal the Ram air duct to the RB air box with Duct Tape. The first time I used duct tape the way it's was meant to be used.

I have the same issues .... if you want to call it an issue.
Rough Idle when AC is on, but Im not using Revi , Im using RB duct + K&N 2nd Gen.
it never stall but you can tell that the RPM drops when your AC is on.
Let me seal the Duct to Intake part and see if it helps.

with any car when you turn on the a/c your rpm's will drop. it just depends on how big the engine is. the bigger the engine the less you will notice the drop. by the way i have revi also and no problem's with huge rpm drop..
