I got the kit, and used the bolts (just 'cause), but we felt the stock copper gasket is better then the aluminum one they give you. Next time I would save the money. But I have an extra gasket now if I need one.

I don't smell anything when i start it up that would suggest exhaust not going through the cat or see any vapor on cold mornings coming from anywhere but th exhaust tips -shrug-

I think Nemesis has the exact same setup.
I did have sealing issues with mine, it used to sound raspy and constantly change like rotor says his is doing. The problem was that I sold my stock cat and accidently sent my fiber gasket to the guy. So i had to wait for him to mail it back to me in the meantime. During the week or so I was without it I tried using the Permatex Ultra Copper to seal it, but the exhaust was so hot and I didn't have the hanger welded on that it tore up the gasket. When I got the stock fiber gasket back I took it apart and the exhaust actually burned right though the Permatex gasket I tried to make.
Moral of story:
Use stock fiber gasket.
Get Hanger welded on. ... Without the hanger welded on it the thing bounces around like crazy and makes whatever gasket you are using unreliable.

the fiber gasket your talking about is the one between the midpipe and muffler correct? I guess I'll see if i can crank down on the bolts any more. Maybe I have to get a hanger welded on - doesn't seem like its hitting anything though.
i just noticed its also backfiring like a ****... crappy sound recording from my phone
(edit - it wasn't making the strange sounds then....)
