I'm installing the RB intake this week, so hopefully I'll be able to feed this monster more air eventually :p

 

The RB intake should really compliment the exhaust well. I was thinking about placing the order myself, but my want of forced induction is keeping me away from ordering the part.

I'd tend to agree with that from the seat of the pants. It's definitely in the upper rev range, naturally, where there seems to be a real increase.

 

I'd like to see a graph of the torque the car made. I'm wondering if the car lost any torque down low due to the reduced backpressure.

 

Anybody knows if the 4AT would benefit from this mod? Most of the power gain is really high in the RPM range.

Interesting... I wonder how much of that is the cat and how much is the Greddy SP2. I'm going to order an SP2 this week, and once I hook up with Red Devil to hear his supercat, I'll probably have to get me one of these as well :D

My question for those who have installed the RP midpipe: How many of you had the hangar from the OEM cat removed and installed on your RP pipe? Those that didn't, have you had any problems? Thanks.

 

For right know I did not have the hanger moved over the the RP mid-pipe . The only problem that I can is the mid-pipe hit hit the cross member . Next week the hanger will be added to the mid-pipe . Hope that this will help . Please pm with any other questions .

 

finally got my rp midpipe installed with my b&b exhaust... wow... it's so loud... after installing it and reving it at the shop... EVERYONE stopped what they were doing and came to hear what the thunder was... haha it sounds really nice tho. no hangers... seemed fine w/out it.

 

Yes, I had to have the hanger installed from the OEM unit. The RP midpipe made a racket without it.

 

Don't currently have the hanger on. It hits the cross member sometimes. Will get that fixed when I get a cat back system.

 

I used the OEM hanger. I have the titanium Trust exhaust and it sat quite low, hitting the metal...

OEM cat was totally destroyed (ceramic stuff where coming off) when it was taken off, dunno know why However I didn't notice a downslope in performance...

The RP mdpipe seems nice. Did only 20km so I can't tell yet.
I weighted it 4.8kg (10.6lbs) with courrier package, very light.

If you do not know anyone with a Harrison CANScan, then you could go by an AutoZone. They might be able to pull the code for you. We need the code #

I have 2500 miles with the midpipe and no CELS, so this might not be related to the midpipe.

I'd have to put on 1 resonator if not 2 and I don't know if that's worth the power gain.

I don't think your getting any more than 3.5 HP from it, then you loose more with a resonator.

 

did you leave the battery off for a long time or just a little while.
i left mine off overnight and CEL was gone.
