Magix, it doesn't matter that your 17, the results will be the same when your my age too.
Just keep following the little head around instead of the big one and you'll wind up like me.
If they'd have cut my ***** off when I was born I'd be the Tzar of the world by now.

But it doesn't take as long to wave the flag again at that age either :D
On another much more relevant note:
I installed my shifter today. It shifts great.....shortened the throw just enough
It shifts smoother, and is much more precise feeling.
It is a bit more noisy though...I like it, you can hear a bit of gear whine.............
as for those little plastic wire retaining clips....make a u shape out of a paper clip...insert between the studs, and the clip, under the tabs...and pull up carefully....they will come right off

Hymee we are getting the SS monday or tues.
Dan, great tip for removing the clips. Add this to Gomez install tips.
Now Both of you, stop giving away "Old Man Secrets"
Makes it harder for us to Get younger woman.
Bluffing is a big part of my front.
Guess it must work my girlfreind is 44 and I'm a bunch older.
Then again as my ex has said of me, "There is a difference between young at heart and immature"
So? :D

Richard,
I was really confused that Sunday morning at your workshop when you kept talking to your "partner" on the phone, and then that young female walked in... Maybe 12 hours of sitting on the plane does that to you. But I should have known you would not be using "partner" in the pinko politically correct sense! ROFL
Cheers,
Hymee.

I received my shifter today and installed it. Since I had some free time, I also replaced my transmission /diff oil with redline MT-90 and 75W90.
I'm very satisfied with the results. No more 1st to 2nd gear notchy grinding and the shifting is noticably shorter. Feels great. Thanks RP, great product. Hurry up and get a website built to sell these.
Gomez's install steps were helpful.
For anyone interested in changing their trans/diff oil check this thread.
I couldn't believe how many metal flakes were on the magnetic drain plugs. It looked like it couldn't hold anymore and the old oil was very muddy looking.
