RP SuperCat, Good or Bad?

I had seen so many postings stating that RP Super Cat is good. it promotes better exhaust flow and the Engine check light will not appear.

But if its good, why are still people selling them?

What's the reason? and whats the disadvantages?

who's selling them? on search only about 3 people have sold since the 9 months ago. the only reason people are is either they are moving on to FI or it is too loud w/ there aftermarket catback-exhaust.

go for it...they sound nice. NGO has it in conjunction with the RB exhaust and it makes it sound 10 times better..

Heh, i just installed mine friday with a couple friends... It's gutted so it's loud as hell... The normal RP supercat also gives it a more aggressive sound. Even though mine was gutted I still didnt get a check engine light or anything. Out of all the midpipes, i'd get this one ;D

They might even start a group buy on the RP supercat here because of popular demand.

I love it.

By itself it can get a tad raspy.

Have a resonator welded in and it sounds deep and good.

Add an aftermarket exhaust to go with it and the sound just drips sex.

I don't see a lot of people selling them to be honest. But generally whenever it's for sale it gets picked up pretty quick. Its a nice mod but it really depends what exhaust you are combining it with, could be that lovely note you're looking for, or just frigging annoying loud.

Thanks for all the input.

But is there any disadvantage apart from Louder noise?

Is this the only High Flow Cat that will not cause the CEL to light up?

no the fact that you have a cat in the system is the whole point the cat stops the cel, because you have a cat...

i dont know how to make it clearer than that... also the noise is not that different.. the cat reduces noise...
