I want kind of loud but not obnoxiously loud. I will probably end up with a high flow cat, maybe a resonated midpipe if I decide to do a cat delete. So I want it to be pretty audible but I don't think it'd be straight wake-up-the-whole-neighborhood loud unless I had just a straight pipe. Correct?

The TurboXS sounds great, but so does the Exotic Speed, plus the Exotic Speed looks great too. Debating whether it's worth 150% the price of the TurboXS... but I dislike the fact that the TurboXS is only compatible with other TurboXS parts.

This is going to be my first aftermarket piece after buying a completely stock 04 8 this past summer, so I'm being pretty particular I suppose. I'm just excited!

This is one of the best sounding, and looking exhaust I've seen for the RX8 I want to get it but I'm afraid to send 800+ dollars to a company based in another country I'm just afraid to burn that much money and never see my 1k$ exhaust , does anyone know where to get it from?

Hey Guys,

My Cat is starting to fail so I need to replace it. I don't really want to go Catless mid-pipe so I figure High-flow Cat....

I am really interested in the BHR mid pipe with the Davesport Cat. I have read a lot of good reviews on this site which has ultimately encouraged me to choose the product. The only hold-up I am having is on the Magnaflow Midpipe with Cat that is selling for $287 with shipping. I have been seeing this and another one for $617(california acceptable) all over the place! Also, I can't seem to find any reviews of the magnaflow on any sites or threads.

My gut tells me that the BHR Pipe&Cat is the better product but because I am seeing the magnaflow everywhere it is making me think it is being widely accepted with some sort of OEM direct replacement accreditation...

Anyhow, I guess what would be helpful is if anyone knew about the Magnaflow Cat Midpipe direct fit replacement. Are they new to the market? How long do they last? Do they have a good sound? I am sort of assuming someone has heard a thing or two about them. I appreciate anyone who is willing to comment. Maybe someone has already found a thread related to this that I couldn't find. Thanks in advance

By far the worst looking and sounding I've seen for our car.

it's hard to know how it actually sounds since it's so loud it just distorts. That is definitely not any "legit" exhaust. I agree with mavictb, it is some generic ebay muffler.

its going to be really hard, trust me. i've been researching like crazy on this exhaust and calling shops all over. its so frustrating because i send some companies an email and they reply saying they have it, but when i call theyll tell me they dont carry it.

your best option is fork up the cash and buy from invidia europe directly which is what i'll be doing soon. be ready to spend $1500 +/-. claim it yourself at the boarder and you can save yourself the brokerage fees.

i tried another company who i will not name, they gave me 100 euros off and cheap shipping but they wanted me to wire them the money so screw them.

Just installed a complete Turbo x system and couldn't be happier. In my hands 3 days after ordered, packed extremly well, very impressed with the quality and a perfect fit. I really like the sound, very low with no rasping although it is a little on the loud side but I swear it is getting quieter with additional miles or I'm just getting used to it. Plus a noticeable performance upgrade (Seat of the pants dyno.)

Just came across this thread, I would suggest the Agency Power full exhaust system, and its defiantly not 50lbs like you guys are saying for these other ones. I have it on my R3 with midpipe and well.....when i gun it to 9.3krpm ppl think that a sport bike is going by

Is everyone positive that you can get these kind of horsepower from a full exhaust on the 8.. what I've been reading so far is that you'll get close to nothing in horsepower gain. This thread puts me back on my *** cuz now I don't know what to go by.. please someone tell me that there really is a way to get my 8 somewhat faster.
