RX 8 Competition version
Having owned an RX8 for about 3 months, my wife and I really like the car. A few weeks backs we took it and our Boxster to a Porsche club auto-x to compare the two back to back.
I never could get a comfortable driving position because of the helmet combined with the reduced head room from the sunroof. Putting that aside, though, it was clear to the both of us that there was way too much body movement in slaloms with the stock suspension.
I know there are after market springs available but wondered if it wouldn't make sense for Mazda to offer a more performance oriented version from the factory--like what they did on the previous version RX7 and Miata. Any ideas if they intend to offer this as an option?

Mazda just released a RX-8 dubbed NR-A for the one off racing season with lots of factory race parts that might serve you well.

The good news is we can import these parts and apply them to our car.
The bad news is to use the roll cage you will have to remove the airbags in the front a-pillar.
