RX-8 Needed for cat-back system

Hey guys, I need a Rx-8 owner from the east cost. We want to make a Tru-dual exhaust system for the rx-8 similar to the pic down below, ( this is one we did for an 350z) But since my car is 20B i can't use it. If anyone is intrested in a Exhaust let us know, If you let us put it on your car you will get the exhaust at cost. And also you will be there all the time, in the installation and in the dyno, WHENEVER YOU SAY STOP , we will. You dont have to keep if you dont want. If any one is intrested please give us a call at 973-365-1190 or email me at marcos@acostamotorsports.com thank you

how do you mean a "Tru-dual"?? you mean two separate pipes from the collector-back, with two canister type mufflers?? do you mean a complete exhaust with a special header with dual collectors, and split all the way back??

Sorry i should have explain my self better, the exhaust system will connect to the header, then split up to two separate canister. The exhaust system will have 1 high flow cat, 1 sound resonator, and two canister, and you choose the canister, from HKS carbon fiber, to Magnaflow.

Just for curiosity, how much extra rwhp did you pull out of your 350Z's exhaust system?

I'll think about it....

... I was planning on getting a cat-back, but was planning on doing it after like a year or two. Also, I only have 450 miles on my car right now so I'm not really enthusiatic about doing dyno runs with this low of milage.

I'll do it. I pick up my rx8 next week (they are getting 2 8's in because of the sales they are making), then we can make plans for me to come up and we can do it.

All I need is an estimated cost this will take and so on. I'll call you guys sunday night so we can map this out.

So Acosta, did anything ever come of this "true" dual exhaust project? Inquiring minds want to know...
