RX8Store Exhaust installed

I just got done installing the RX8Store exhaust. The install was pretty easy but it would have taken less time if I used a lift instead of rhino ramps. :D

The system fits nicely and looks great. Nice rumble on start up and it's not too loud. It sounds awesome at WOT while rowing through the gears and there is no drone while cruising. I only drove it for about 5 minutes so I'm looking forward to breaking it in this weekend.

Here are some pretty bad pics. I'll post better ones when it's daytime and it's washed.

Yup, what Mike said.

I think the tips are perfect. They are 3.5 inches which fills out the rear nicely without looking ricey. I'm not a fan of huge exhaust tips.

I drove it around a lot today. The engine seems to rev a tad more free but I can't say that it's noticably faster. 10-12hp won't make a big difference.

I have a CZ1 on order (should be here in the next week or two) and that is were an exhaust will help more.

Congrats on the new mod. You'll learn to love it more everyday.

Doug - I have the rx8store exhaust plus the cz stage 1.1 and all is well in my world. Other than the speeding tix that I've picked up lately. The extra power of the stage 1.1 applied to the rumble of the rx8store exhaust is the perfect combo for me. Couldn't ask for anything better.

FYI - The exhaust has been installed since Dec. and I had the original cz stage 1 back in early Jan. - Now that I have the updated cz stage 1.1, this car is extremely fun to drive hard and fast, even more so than before.

Thanks!

Did you notice any difference between 1.0 and 1.1? I can't wait to get mine!

The Stage 1 had a noticable punch at 5500 and 7500rpm - Stage 1.1 is smooth all the way to redline but with a noticably stronger pull all the way there. I didn't notice it as much at first but with more time behind the wheel it has been more and more so. Great combo IMO! I'm very happy!
