Short shifter or midpipe?

I have an 06 MT with a K&N typhoon v2 intake and an Agency Power catback exhaust. Should my next mod be a an AFE short shifter or a BHR midpipe? How noticeable would the midpipe be (performance wise) with my current set up? I already know the short shifter makes a big difference and increases the "fun" factor... thanks.

I vote for the midpipe.. best mod you can buy for extra horsepower other than a turbo/supercharger.

I've heard ppl say the AFE is the way to go. That'll be an up and coming mod for me

Do I get to vote? Probably not, so you'll just have to guess what I'd say.

midpipe will get you anywhere from zero to 10HP. I would recommend the AFE SS, it has been and always will be my recommended first mod for anyone with a manual transmission.
FYI, I also have the BHR midpipe and love it, but the SS will give you more bang for you buck.

AFE short shifter. Its the best mod I've done to date. I doubt you get 10hp with a race pipe. However shooting flames is cool!

AFE is great IF you dont like the normal shifter. If you like it, what is the point?

By the way, I have shifter. it was my first mod and I LOVE IT! 8)

I'd go with AFE too.. I have it and its great! 10HP for the BHR sounds amazing (but with a good tune im guessing).

i know what you're thinking and im thinking the same thing...

i have both the midpipe and the SS. Id say go with the SS, Hands down, the best mod on my car. Changes the feel of the car, adds more "sport" to it

I had a mid-pipe. really adds nothing noticeable except sound. I've got a RP shortshifter. I love it every time I drive the car, it's rifle-bolt tight..snikity-snak.
