Sorry took so long, I was trying to get some sound clips, but it's kinda hard to shift and record at the same time. I might have to get the wifey (if she don't freak out) to record while I get some sound bites from the interior and drive by. The only (small) clip I have is at idle then getting on it just a little..(our neighborhood has a strict enforcement code against that sort of thing). I'll have to figure a way of getting it on here or linking it to Photobucket.
BlueFlame is a UK exhaust manufacturer. Here is a link to their web page:

I've only heard this exhaust on a few other cars, but no RX8's... so I call the guy up just to make sure their specs fit American RX8's.. yep. They shipped it last Thursday, I got Monday this week. Sounds very deep and throaty when you get on it, but it's pretty quiet inside cruising at 70 in 6th. I'm pleased..

As far as the tips, I kinda like them like that..their def out just a tad too far, but it looks good standing next to it. The pix really don't give it justice.

Let me see if I did this right....here is a clip I just made a few minutes ago. My HOA has very strict codes against this sort of thing, so I had to wait until now to do it..then get the heck out of dodge before anyone realizes who it was.http://s31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...xhaustClip.flv

Wow I never thought anybody in the U.S would have this exhaust. I noticed I have never really seen it talked about around here. Here is a youtube video of a flyby.

The size of the piping is 2.5". Cost me $488.00 total (shipping included) from the UK. I'll try to get some more clips out when I can. Everything is straight bolt-on...no fuss, no muss.

stock piping is 2.5" afaik.
turbo xs is 3", $500+shipping from maryland.
although, the turbo xs is loud. heh. but i do prefer it.
both exhausts have tip problems. you are going to melt your exhaust shrouds eventually with that exhaust. its too close to the sides. i run without my exhaust shrouds due to the turbo xs tips being too short.

Exhaust systems (by themselves) will net you absolutely nothing on a NA car.. No matter the car..Any gain is negligible, so at this point, it's just preference in tone (or noise if you will), looks, tubing size (which matters not). I bought it because I like the sound better than some of the others and it looks cool.

a full 3" headerback system that includes a cat delete pipe will net at least 10whp. at least. more likely 12-15whp.
and a COMPLETELY new exhaust system, including a new header, can net up to 18whp.
this is coming from the koni challenge rx8 race teams.
