I think I unintentionally mislead you. The end of the liner is fine. It was the underside of the hole/cutout for the intake that we had to ream a bit. We enlarged the underside of the cutout maybe 1/2" to accommodate my intake setup.

it was really tight... had a helluva time getting the clamps back around it so we said screw it and grabbed the saw.... reamed her good.
