srmotorsports RX8_Clutch_Flywheel KITS.
At the link below you will find 2 different setups for Clutch and Flywheel setup. I am interested now in making this combo purchase. Has anyone on here installed either of these two? What are your impressions? Pros/cons? Realistic street drivability? Also, should I consider a different setup? I don't want to fool around with adjusting here and there just to get 2 different products to work. A smooth product buy, product install and mod done. Does this exist? Please provide useful comments. Thanks.....

I'm thinking the same thing.
Go with the first kit as you will be good for 350 plus RWHP.
The second kit is much stiffer and is for off road use only. Like drag or track only.
The first kit you can use for both applications.

I have that flywheel on my RX-7 and absolutely love it. It is the last flywheel I will ever buy. Just use the Heavy duty and not the extreme clutch. You have no need for the extreme cluth and probably never will. It is a full race puck clutch. The pedal effort is very stiff and the engagement is very abrupt. Your foot will get tired very quickly on the street and it will be fairly difficult to get the car moving at first. They are designed for very high horsepower cars. I seriously doubt anyone in the near future will have a need for one on an RX-8. There are only a few people running around with race pucks and those people are driving 400+ hp rotaries and typically not as daily drivers. Stick with the Heavy duty one. You'll be fine.

I have the SR Motorsports flywheel on my car. It is a nice piece. You may also want to look at the Racing Beat Flywheel with ACT Clutch package that www.rx8store.net is offering. Less expensive, & just as good in my opinion.
