Stock Exhaust

So I just recently bought my rx8 about 3 weeks ago and absolutely love it. But the person I bought it from was an old friend and hooked me up big time with the price. He gave me both sets of rims with new tires, performance breaks and an after market exhaust. With 70k miles on it, and for 10k. Immaculate condition. Anyway, to the point. I'm not really sure what type the exhaust is, and he said he doesn't remember anymore. Is there a way I can find out? And he also gave me the stock exhaust that has probably like 5k miles on it at most, but its been garaged ever since. Worth selling? if so how much should I sell it for?

almost no one wants stock exhaust. So ...

as for the aftermarket exhaust, post a picture of it, most people should be able to tell you what is it .

Ok I'll take a pic in the morning. But I was also wondering about an intake. I heard a bunch of stuff going around about different types of intakes. I was looking for a nice one that will compliment my exhaust. Is the stock good or should I get a specific one? My friend suggested short ram because the cool air could suck up water and snow and cause some problems because its lower. Anyone have some advice?

Look at the tips, does it say nething? AP (Agency Power) and RB (Racing Beat) say there name right on the tips. Also, what is the diameter?

As for the intake, it does nothign for the car but make the rotary sound louder. The stock box was designed so well, that an aftermarket intake only adds 1-3 hp. The only reason for really getting one is for the sound tone. If you want hp, get a midpipe. Post pix/sound clips and we will try and tell you what catback you have. Also, if you can tell, the metal type will help

that looks like it may be the b&b, i remember mine having "billy boat racing" stamped onto it though. that may have been on top of the muffler chamber though
