will it be louder? i have the rx7 store catback for the moment, decently loud, dont want to go louder but i'd like to have a mid pipe. will it be louder with a racing beat dual resonated midpipe?

 

Yes. Cats do a good job of quieting things down.

 

I have a RB cat-back and the RB mid-pipe did not make it any louder.

 

I had an RB dual res with stock cat back. It did not get louder inside the car. (I never listened to it with someone else driving.)

 

Since it deletes the cat it does get louder but not by much with the dual res. I cant wait to sell my RB Test pipe and get a DR pipe. I want to quiet it down since im going single exit.

 

i tried a friends car who has the turbo xs midpipe with stock muffler, when cruising it was almost like stock sound but at WOT it sounded like **** and was very loud. i think just my catback is lounder than his setup (i have rx7store catback)

still not sure if the racing beat dual resonated is quieter than the stock midpipe since the turbo xs is supposed to be drony and raspy(was raspy at wot) and very loud but no drones on highway and sounded just like stock. the only thing is that his car smells like **** with midpipe

 

i'd like to know more answers to this question too, could someone who has the dr pipe please chime in?
