We're(SC'd) not in boost most of the time as well,,,, I can be just beyond idle throttle position and still be in vaccum... I actually do get a little better mpg but its so fun to be in boost that most of the time I dont meet that mpg increase,,,

Those that have driven both a SC 8 and a turbo 8, can you please comment on the differences in driveability for a DD? Thx

^I haven't driven both...but it can be just like stock really. If you don't mash the throttle you won't go into boost. It will drive just like stock. Boost is boost...doesn't matter if it's a TC or SC.

Turbo is a pita because when you mash the throttle in gear at low speeds the tyres light up and frighten little children and old ladies .

Other than that here are some DD issues I've noticed with turbo
*Turbo timer - you can't lock the doors until the motor is stopped .
*Need to allow a little more time to warm it up before you use moderate throttle because it goes into boost so easily. I find i'm feathering it for the first few minutes .
*I little harder to drive smoothly at medium throttle

nothing too major - i'm still getting used to it .....

Just beyond throttle idle position? Your kidding right? That must feel like **** driving at such low rpm. My point still stands that you will almost always make boost in normal driving conditions. That type of driving is well suitable for old women and such . As you said you boost most the time , thus decreasing mpg , who buys forced induction for increased mpg?

I meant throttle matching( I wouldnt consider it rev matching because I consider that a technique used for downshifting) the speed of the car, lets say for instance Im traveling at 65mph my idle in 6th gears is about 3500rpms thats what I meant not actual idle.....
wow how come your so aggressive,,,, Im commenting on my car you can go comment on your car,,,
and your point is completely off I can drive all day long and not hit boost if I dont mash the pedal,, thats the big misconception about SC's
Pitchfork gripped alittle bit tighter now....
