ps i got the RB gauge pod and gauges installed over the weekend and it was so easy its not even funny, the power and dimmer wires were right there it took me 45 min to do it...way easier then expected.. now for the defrost vent pod with wideband instal.. this will be alot harder

no right now i just hooked up the power ground and dimmer wires. i routed the sender wires thru the dash and i just have them coiled up behind the radio area. im worried i wont have enough wire to reach all the sensors. mybe the trans tunnel is the way to go.. through the shifter boot right? wait are you talking about the wideband sensor? that gauge is going in the defrost vent and i didnt instal it yet, but i will probly route it thru the shifter boot.

any wires routed through the shifter boot are in a position to be damaged if space is not allow for them. My friend install had this problem shortly after he had it all done. Just make sure to make room from the things going that way.
there is a firewall access on the passengers side behind the windshield washer tank(its the source for the hole for the streering in the euro cars)--either way is ok and no you will have to run extra wire for all except the wideband. it should have enough.

so if im installing my wideband in the defrost vent pod should i route the sensor wire thru the firewall with the other ones but then just run it down under the car to the exhaust? or should i go thru the trans tunnel somewhere?

if you are on the dash you will have to go through the firewall--it would be the easiest I think. I ended up drilling my firewall--but that was my choice--you dont have too---does make it easier though.

i just relized when i was getting ready to install the defrost vent guage with wideband and i see im going to have to drill thru the duct some how to run the wires down and out the firewall. how the hell am i going to drill it when the windsheild blocks you from getting a drill in there. and do you guys know how to remove that top cover peice on the stock guage cluster? it sesms really lose and simple to remove but i didnt wanna pry on it cause i didnt know if there were any screws. does the whole assembly come out as one or can i just take that top cap off? im talking about the peice that some people replace with a carbon fiber one.

Hey Nick sorry didnt get back to you earlier....
Got my gauge up and running too,
I removed the OEM vent, stuffed paper towels down the defroster tunnel, tapped the hole large enough to allow the connector through and tied the light into the dimmer switch right next to the DSC tab, alot easier than I thought it would be....
although it seems my colored cap that fits over the light is little fadded so instead of having a red glow I have a salmon/orange-ish color.
