Thank you
I would like to thank everyone on this forum for ALL of the information regarding performance options for the RX-8.
I have mulled over exhaust options for about a month, ever since I met up with some RX-8 folks in Arizona. I spent hours and hours searching, listening and debating with myself over the cost.
I finally placed my order with Racing Beat for their cat back exhaust. My choices dwindled down to Greddy, Hymee, MazdaSpeed and Racing Beat.
Of all of these, I love the sound of the MazdaSpeed. I even considered buying it and going to a local muffler shop to have new exhaust tips installed. But why buy a product, to only then chop it up in pieces.
Greddy was a little louder (but I could live with it) but the TIPS are just to big in my opinion. The Hymee looks REALLY good, but the sound was just a little bit much for me.
Overall, Racing Beat met my needs for looks and sound.
Thank you everyone for your comments on the forum and the Exhaust Summary is a beautiful thing. Any new RX-8 owner looking to do exhaust enhancements, should go there FIRST!
