Trouble fitting Greddy rear shock tower brace
I've taking off the spare tire kit and tried installing a Greddy shock tower brace but on my 05 rx8. There are two bolts on the outside of the shock that your suppose to fit on the brace but the space between the bolts are too wide. There is about 5mm difference from the two holes and just wondering if it's my car or the brace. Also, the gold mount that connects to the shock has to be removed in order to install but I've heard that that's not a good idea and other members from this website said they've had no problems with the installation with it on.
The brace was bought used from a member of this forum and the parts are in great condition. I was thinking that maybe it's a year difference of his car and mine, so I went to Greddy.com and found that they sell it for 03 and up which means it's universal for all rx8's. Does anyone have the same problem and how did you end up resolving it.

Here is a PHOTO of how it looks installed.

I finally got it installed. Thanks for all the support guys. I was confused because I first thought that it goes in the same place as Expo's, but thanks to Mazda-Rati I figured it out. It goes on the bolts at the stem of the shock inside the floor of the trunk. Once again, thanks for all the help =). Racing Beat front and rear to follow.
