turbo or 20b?
I am looking at videos of people with turbos on there 8s but I was wondering wouldnt it be better track wise to get a 3 rotor engine in your 8 or turbo it??? if turbo it then whats the best kind of turbo for the car with engine safety in mind?

heh. They are completely different things, with completely different budgets.
turbo will run you anywhere from 3k to 14k range. 20b will run you 20k to 30k range.
power levels of a turbo will be somewhere around 250-350 whp, 20b will be around 300-600 whp.

I don't know what you're talking about - there was very little lag. The dyno machine puts load on your car, so it's not like you're free rolling the wheels. He hit the gas and it spooled up. I didn't hear the typical throttle followed by 4 seconds of reving till the turbo spooled. It sounded like a great setup, and the car sounded like it was barely trying

Don't feed the troll. Every Supra driver is an ******* anyways. Never met a more unpleasant gang of chavs in my life.

Remember we are talking about rx-8s not 7s. Even though i must admit i have dished a fair share of beatings on the 7 drivers as well. Now ..the 20b is one of the most overated pieces of ..... ever.. i dont care what you guys think..its an absolute waste of time and money. Even if you turbo charge an 8 it still wont stand a chance against a stock evo srt 4 sti or the infamous 350z..thats why i told my 8 in the first place..just wanted tp help...250whp is average for the greddy i am assuming..just a waste.

250 whp is about what you get with the greddy if you stick to 6 psi. If you go to 8/9 psi you'll get around 280. And if you upgrade the turbo you can get 300-350 but with a lot more torque while still running low boost.
Here's a few different 350z dyno charts of various model years.

i dont get why hes talking about this when referring to the 20B, but then mentions nothing about a 20B but of the rx8. Lets ask any of the rx8 20B owners if they feel they could take on an evo or supra?
