These older threads found with a title only search for 'turboxs' should answer your questions.

Before this thread dies down, I have a quick question. I've searched for this in most of the TurboXS threads without much luck. I was looking at the performance gains for both the complete race exhaust and also for the catback alone. I noticed that while the catback produces roughly 13 more whp, it produces a decrease in torque. Anyone know what this will mean as far as everyday driving. I'm still relatively new to the sports car world so I'm not sure what the effect would be of an increase in hp with a decrease in torque. Is the exhaust worth getting without the midpipe? Thanks for the help!

I would imagine that you would have to rev it higher to get more power out of it. I think it woud depend on your driving habbits whether or not it would have any effect on your everyday driving. It would probably benefit you if you are into drag racing since you'll have more overall power, but the downside is if you are into tracking or autox, you'll have less power in your midrange, which is where you'll need it coming out of turns and such. Everyday driving, you may have to rev it higher to get the power that you are used to now. It may not make a huge different, but it will also depend on the load. Personally, I don't think this car can afford to lose any torque, but thats just me.
