TurboXS exhaust review/questions
I recently purchased the newer version of the TurboXS header-back exhaust from a member here on the forums. First off let me say the fitment is great and the slant-cut tips look amazing. It seems like a high quality exhaust.
At first I installed both the cat-back and the mid-pipe, but this only lasted about 24 hours since it was almost embarrassingly loud. The flames were cool but it got old pretty quick.
The next day I threw the stock cat pipe back on (yes it fits perfectly fine, I'm not sure why so many people say otherwise), and it sounds absolutely amazing outside the car. But inside the car between 3 and 5k RPM there's horrible drone both cruising in town and on the freeway at 65-80 mph.
I'm just wondering if other people experience the drone and if anybody has modified just the cat-back section with an additional resonator/silencer with positive results.

I have my turboxs catback with AP Mid pipe, fits just fine as well. I hear rasp between 4-5k but thats because of the AP mid pipe. Im not to sure how loud the system is with the included racepipe, but Im sure its up there.
I've had mine on for about a few months now and it grows on you. Honestly it sounds loud in the car but really its not that bad outside unless you get into it. Best thing you could do is dynomat inside of the trunk or use other sound damping type material to help lower the drone.
