If powers what your looking for to decide on single or twin and the greddy kits not doing it for you there's a kit out from SFR that puts 326 hp to the rear wheels. Throw in a cat deletion pipe and don't worry about the second turbo.

While we are speaking 1 turbo / rotor lets focus on a triple turbo and a 20B swap in the meantime :-)

Hmmm i think we are running out of engine bay.

I believe the person is working on a sequential setup.

That's the best way to test limitations isn't it?

chnaged my mind, I'm gonna do a triple turbo; tiny little baby turbo on the siamese center ports and two big honking snails on the outer ports, I might even throw a supercharger on too for good measure

Other than packaging constraints, there is no reason to dismiss any particular setup out-of-hand.
You need to evaluate your flow requirements in any application and decide what will fill it.
As Tim noted, you can get two smaller turbos to effectively act like a bigger one with a wider efficiency range.
However, as noted elsewhere, modern turbos can have enormous 72% or better bands in their flow maps - even at 35 lbs of air (which is how much the Renesis can ingest at 9k RPM and 14 PSI) - and still operate with turbines that can spin up to those speeds by 3500.

Personally, I think its not a good solution for any reason other than bling. Then again, I am not the kind that shuns bling. Sometimes, you just want to give 'em a reason to come running and that outweighs the difficulties to some extent.

If you have the cash and/or the skills, nothing is out of bounds if you have done the math.

Install twins in the engine bay plus a rear mounted turbo as well! That'll keep them guessing! Hell, install the twins in series! Use 3 intercoolers too.

I even thought about this, like adapting the BNR Stage 2 twin turbos for the FD to the RX-8, but it would seem like too much trouble and just going single turbo would be better.
But it would be dope to have twin turbos. You would get mad props form everyone here.
