I installed the UR pulleys a couple of weeks ago and I did not really notice a difference until four thousand RPM's and up it DID make a difference. At first I thought it was placebo until I ran through another gear.
It is actually embarrassing to say this but I got all excited when I repeated the acceleration from a stand still and yelped with glee.

I looked into making these pulleys for the 8 just because people keep asking for them. If you want them just for "bling" then go for it.
If I made these things as thin as I dare they would only be slightly lighter then stock. I'm talking Oz's here not Lbs. Lets assume we could get half a pound out which we can't from the main pulley set up. If that could add 10 HP then how much can we get from a flywheel reduction of say 5 lbs? Consider the base radius difference. You'd have to gain 40 hp from the flywheel.
Talk about radius, how much can you gain from lighter tires. Just think if these oz's were taken from the tire od as in wear you'd get great gains from used tires.
I don't know how they get those numbers but belive me if there were anything to gain, I who own a machine shop would have them on my car. Think about that for a min, I could go in on a Sunday and whip out 10 hp for myself. Free.

SR pullies weigh 1.5 lbs less than stock. I was surprised to see that much difference. I think I wrote down the exact numbers but it has been awhile so I would have to dig around.
