Hey guys, I just finished up on the install of my Umnitza intake i bought from 1genrx8 (real good guy btw).

Took about an hr and a half to install it. I took it to a friend that owns a rotary shop here (I didnt even know he was into rotaries) and had it done. charged me 40 bucks. To me its well spent as he really did do a good job.

The car sounds like a whole new beast now. The intake adds just that extra little grown when you hit on the gas. it REALLY opens up at WOT like every body else says. (too loud for some i would say) I dont mind cause i really dont hit it that hard very often.

As for gains... I say little gain if any.... The car does pull a bit harder but nothing to brag about.

Overall im pleased with the intake/install it looks gorgeous under the hood and sounds even better!

PS: So far no CEL (knock on wood)

Congrats on the install Kris. You should not get any CEL's with intake. I never did the 4 mos I had it on my ride.

 

dude for future reference. all you need to install this is a phillips screw driver and a small socket set i've done it like 10 times and it takes me bout 10 min. so save yourself the 40 bux. and congrats on it i love mine. feels good and sounds great. get a friend to get on it while you stand outside to hear it. love it. or hell go to umnitzas website and watch the video
