UR Pulley Set
#57
Company name is Solid, I'd imagine they are based in SLC or around here. But so far I love them, even a long haul trip to Denver, no problems. I would suggest however not running non-stock air.
This company does not do anything to the A/C pulley, unlike the other companies. And the pulleys still pulled the exact same.
Any updates on the UR pulley set?

I lost all confidence after a phone conversation with them...
I actually want light pullies with no underdrive so I ordered a set of stock pullies and am having a custom set made up. I am going to ask the machine shop if they can make a bulk run of say 20-25 for less, if they can and it is significant I will see about setting up a group buy... Once the set is ready I am going to grab a stock 8 off the lot dyno it and then install the set and dyno again. I expect about 8-9hp... It will be the crank-alternator and water-pump pullies... I am also getting all the bolts and nuts that hold them in place made up in titanium and then will dyno with those to see if it is worth it...

I don't understand why you guys are not interested in and don't get the SR Motorsports pullies ? I have them in for about 3 weeks and thought the quality was excellent and the car seems quieter at idle.
I have had pullies on my prelude and at idle the lights would dim and the A/C was noticeably reduced. Since I had had these pullies, there is no dimming of lights at idle and the A/C does not seem effected. SR Morotsports has quality product, so why the hesitation ?

Hopup Racing has them on its website for $291. The claim is now 14-18 hp and 10-14lbs of torque.
