The most effective way I know of to stabilize the voltage for the electronics is to invest in a decent grounding kit. Personally, I have the Lineage Ground Wire kit.

You can use that if you want. However, I recommend the Lineage kit since they are manufactured to a higher standard than any of us could hope to accomplish in a home made kit.

There really isn't to much of a standard to live up to when it come to groud wires. Manufacturers can't make copper / gold wiring conduct electricity any better than anyone else. As long as you have a heavy gauge wire, and have goods connections between the wires and end pieces, home made ground kit will work just as good as $100 aftermarket kits.

Voltage Stabilizer? Sounds like you are working on the Millenium Falcon. Let me know if you need a flux capacitor.

Spend the money you'll be happey than you DID . I found the MazdaSpeed kit from CanZoomer for $150.00 and installed it 2 weeks ago and found the car has a better engine speed is around 800 rpm vr the jumping upto 1200 rpm at a stop and my mpg has gotten better upto an ave of 20 in the city as well as a small increast in hp !

The voltage stabilizer are usually installed together with the full point grounding kits for maximum effect! Its quite a common mode done in Asia here.

OK, potential heresy here for some of you, but...I have a hard time believing the the stock electronics are so poorly grounded that any sort of "grounding kit" will have a noticable effect, let alone a "voltage stabilizer", whatever the hell that is. Not to call those of you who like this sort of thing out, but butt dyno measurements and subjective "huge difference" reviews aren't going to cut it. When I see consistent stories in an objective fashion, i.e. non-butt dynos, blind A/B tests (I know...next to impossible with something like a grounding kit) etc that point to an improvement then I'll consider it.

Now, to be fair, I doubted the effect of grounding kits on ANY car at first, but the results obtained on a number of FDs was pretty consistently good. Then again, these were 10-12 year old cars with a penchant for electrical issues. So I'm NOT saying its impossible...just that its unlikely that any positive effect..even if it is definitely there...will be nearly as significant as some would have you believe.

Now, if at some point I see the light and decide I need a grounding kit, I will simply hunt down Canzoomer's post of a template of the Mazdaspeed kit and make my own.

The Voltage stabilizer is a very nice looking box, with two big impressive looking cables coming out of it, with a 0.25 cent capacitor inside.

Save your money.

It's true!

For the price of one of these ultra-hyper-fighting-championship-edition-voltage-flux-remix-capacitance-mega-turbo-sunshine-up-your-butt-stabilizers, you can get an Optima or Hawking Electronics battery (as an addition or replacement) and achieve similar effects.
