Want to buy exhaust!

Well, I've decided that I want to make the growl on my 8 beastier. I've read the sticky up on the top of this forum about the summary of the exhausts but I need to hear from those who've 1st hand have these.

In short, what I'm looking for is the roar that Camero's, Mustangs, etc have on their cars. Basically a deep growl. I know that the camero's and mustang's have v8's usually and it's a totally different engine than the rotary, but that's just the sound I'm looking for. I think I like the sound of Borla from what I heard in the soundbits, but I don't know.

I will probably keep the stock rear bumper, or add a Mazdaspeed bumper just incase any of the exhausts are too big for the stock bumper.

Let me know which exhaust you think would do best in this situation, the price, and around how much install would be.

Thanks guys!

P.S. If you can add sound clips or pictures, I'd be appreciated.

Try www.mazdatrix.com under the exhaust section they have sound clips. If you are looking for the deepest, loudest exhaust most would say Borla.

Don't go too growly...you'll regret it...and so will your passengers

personally I recommend Hymee's exhaust..a great balance

I have the Greddy exhaust and I love it. It is quiet at idle but gets louder the harder you push it and it isn't irritating on the highway.

From what I've heard on Mazdatrix, my top three choices are (in no order) Racing Beat, Greddy, and Borla

All three exhausts really fill out the exhaust openings, but the Greddy one seems almost overdoing it compared to the Borla and the Racing Beat.

Out of those three, can anyone talk about their experiences with them?
