I don't currently have an rx-8, but as soon as I sell my Talon I'm getting one for sure. The salesman at the dealership is a guy I used to work with at a previous job, so he won't try and dick me on price.

I talked to a service rep and the supposed leading tech on rotary engines at the dealer about what mods could be done and what will void the warranty. Both seemed very knowledgable about the car, and showed very good cooperation with modification use. They said that for each mod I was considering besides something like a body kit, just to bring in as much documentation on it as I can find. Then they'd put their heads together and see if it would actually be beneficial, or detrimental to a specific part or system in time. I was just impressed by their willingness to conform to aftermarket product and get their take on certain ideas. As soon as I get my 8, hopefully I can get a list of ideas together and go over it with them. Just an fyi =)
