Weird sound from intake...what is it?

I'm hearing a slight vacuum leak type sound from my intake area after installing my K&N intake. The sound occurs when I press the throttle and it only lasts a split second each time. What could this be? I'm sure it was installed correctly (done at a local shop), but is this normal? I checked to make sure everything was secured and tight and it didn't have anything loose.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Throttlebody opening?? Most aftermarket intakes i've heard on different cars make a whoosh or chirp sound when you press or release the throttle

read this post from me that could explain the noise and it could just be louder than normal with th ek&n. or you could have mis connected one of those and you do have a vacuum leak. OR you could have a leak in you intake tube or at the connection which would suck air in. the last 2 are not good. one could cause you oil metering to not work right. the other since the engine then does not know about the extra air and could cause and very-lean condition- then you get knock.
