Were to get performance work done in Dallas, Tx

Hey, I have a turbo kit, clutch, radiator and brake kit that I need installed in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I read turbo's need to be installed right to work and be reliable (figurativly speaking). Anyone know of a shop that is in DFW that does credible work? I would really appreciate it!

I'd go gotham, I think Atkins rotary is up in that area too, you might want to try posting this in the gulf regional forum if you haven't done so already

They have their own kit coming out...and it is far better than the Greddy unit.

Well i knew this day would come eventually. I guess i will no longer be the only turbo'd 8 owner in dallas/ft worth.

Gotham in Haltom City or Rotary Performance in Garland can both do an excellent job.
Pretty much any "install" is basic for these guys.
If you are even willing to break down the installs into seperate times (turbo and radiator together and then brake kit and clutch later) I could even do the install. Its really not that hard.

ahh ok, don't know why I thought it was in Dallas (damn alzheimers) The ptp turbo has its own thread and has been talked about all over the place. Last I heard from them in person they had over 12 lbs of boost and some crazy *** numbers, but they were also tweaking fuel rails and doing quite a bit of other enginre related tweaks to get those numbers to that point. The thing about the Greddy is most of that is already done, you just plug it in and with some minor adjustments it's good to go. If it were me I'd probably wait at least another year for FI as there are SC's, other turbos, etc etc coming out or already out, it would suck to go spend a ton of money on a Greddy only to have something more desirable show up on the scene weeks later that might even be cheaper etc

Well mistake on my part, I didnt read this much before I bought. If something comes out better (even though my budget says stop) I most likely will end up getting it anyway. I think I will stick with Gotham to do the work, I called them and they seemed pretty nice. I am dropping the car off may 29th I beleive. Decided to also get a computer system before then...QUESTION

My older brother has a WRX with a cool computer thing. It wires with the turbo, so that if he wants economy, he can via small computer screen in the car, set it for economy driving, and at the turn of a switch, set it up for maximum performance, in seconds. Is there anything out there for the RX 8 that functions like this. It seemed pretty "fast and furious" trick, but he only paid $1k for it.

Any help would be cool, thanks for the posts! I appreciate it!

A boost controller will take care of that.
