What next?

I need some advice on what to do next with my car. I was going towards the esthetic side of things trying to get some wheels and a new lip, but both have been put on hold due to the wheels being backordered and me not being able to decide on a lip.

Anyways, this is what I have done so far, performace wise:

Axialflow Engineering Short Shifter
K&N Typhoon V2 Intake
Race Roots Clutch Pedal Reinforcement Bracket
Sprint Lowering Springs

I've recently changed the sparks, coils, and wires, as well have been premixing since I got the car.

I was considering a coilover setup, but it's out of my budget.
Then I considered a mid pipe but saw the price of a full catback with midpipe is only about $300 more for everything.
But then I thought about getting pulled over all the time with an exhaust since the cops are ruthless where I live.
Just a mid pipe would bother me due to the permanent CEL.

Any advice would be appreciated, maybe something I haven't thought about.

Oh yeah, I'm not tracking/racing this car. It's a daily driver.

Thanks!

The midpipe thing is understandable. I'd go with an exhaust, though. Don't think you'll regret it.

I don't understand why people ask other forum members what they should do to "their" car. This site is packed full with information. Do some research and customize "your" car the way "you" feel fit. I don't ask anyone what "I" should do to "my" car. "I" do what "I" think looks good, sounds good, feels good, etc. to "my" car and then post the results to a.) get peoples opinions, and b.) give other forum members ideas of what they can possible do to "their" cars.

Have a local muffler shop weld this on and you will not throw a CEL. Same gains as a midpipe (supposedly).

Im selling my midpipe to buy one of these for that same issue. (PM me if anyone wants a midpipe)

Put a Kenstyle Front bumper on your car so you will be the 2nd person to be laughed at for doing it.

Don't buy the K&N. There's plenty of information on the site as to why.

He already has the K&N installed. God this intake is worthless lol. Over the winter, I plan to return OEM and sell mine. A local RX8club member that comes to our meets did some cool stuff with his OEM intake and Im going to follow that path, his car seems much....smoother....than mine.

His name on here is Solidtrance, good guy.

He gutted the OEM intake, removed the VFAD and did the plexi glass over the top. Looks real sharp in person, and to be completely honest, probably the fastest NA RX8 Ive ever been in personally

Those swift springs will make your car ride real hard. They will also make your chocks where out real quick.
