What shoul i add to my car?

Hey!
I m getting a 2004 Rx-8 and its at 48k , and i want to make it as fast as i can with my limited budget. My problem is after i started to search about it ,i totally got confused because there are too many things that i can do. My budget is around $8,000 so what is the best way to use that money to make my car faster?
Thanks

After doing some research on this board and others I have found that the only way to make more power with this car is FI. Be it a turbo or SC. With a bodget of 8k I would keep your RX8 and buy a 5k 93 MR2 turbo, throw on a bolt on turbo upgrade and stomp your pretty RX8 all day in a straight line. But thats just me.

on a more serious note: THIS is the turbo you want: http://www.mazdamaniac.com/upgrade/complete_kit.htm

- cheaper then some other turbos out there
- uses the AccessPort for tuning (best tuning tool out there right now IMHO)
- Designed by two VERY knowledgable forum members (MazdaManiac and Charles R Hill)
- Did I mention Price???
- Out of the box you should be around 300 hp to the wheels.

With a budget of 8K, this will use up most of it when you take into account the installation and additional accessories such as boost controller or gauges.
Where are you located?

Here's the thread discussing the release of the kit: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-major-horsepower-upgrades-93/mm-bhr-turbo-kit-pre-order-147041/

for $8k u can do quite a bit actually. u should search the forced induction threads and read up on the shared knowledge from those ppl.

if u live anywhere in florida, u might want to consider a mazsport turbo. (check their web site.) the greddy is much cheaper, but also more difficult to fine tune. a lot of owners have had issues. but, there is ample info in the turbo threads to help u out there.
