As for me I did the AFE shortShifter and the flywheel and both are great instant notice / improvement mods.
Stainless Steel lines give brakes a firmer feel, less "spongy".

My dealer did the MS flywheel, MS exhaust, and MS CAI for $510. I remember them saying the flywheel was a 4 hr. job.

I'd have to say by far the best mod you can have done is the suspension. I got the MS springs/shocks/sways/tower bars and it makes a world of difference.

The lighweight flywheel is a decent mod but considering the cost of labor to install and the minimum gains from it your money would be best spent elsewhere.

So, to be more exact, the single best mod I've done to my car, is that, with the help of this dude, I've met Rotary Xpert... He helped me and he is still helping me a lot and always delivers.

My ss clutch line arrives shortly & i'll be putting it straight in .I'm hoping it will give me more travel of the release brg . At the moment with a HD clutch I'm finding that when engine is cold I'm not getting full clutch disengage .
I'll post here if there is any change with the ss line.

Thought about this some more: I'm going to also go with the ONE mod that I sometimes forget is even on my car: RP Short Shifter! It's the mod that just keeps on giving.

put in my ss clutch line last week . I have a HD clucth & have been having trouble getting full clutch disenguagement . It could have been air in the line but I used the same proceedure to bleed it as I did after putting the line on and the problem has gone away now . So - yes it is worth it if you have a HD clutch .

all my mods are the best.

but in terms of gains vs cost, I would say a boost controller outweighs the rest

Hot Chicks are the best addition to any car.

I know I keep a couple in my trunk at all times.

I kid, I kid. I don't ever put anything in my trunk.

Drove a stock RX-8 last weekend and it definitely reaffirmed my love of the Axial Flow Short Shifter.

60lbs seems tough to believe, the BBK will give you what, 24lbs off the front? that leaves the rims saving 30lbs or over. thats close to 7 pounds a wheel. Well now that a think of it you could do it, 17-18 pound wheels though.

well, he said unsprung weight. 1 kg reduction in unsprung weight is about 6kg reduction in sprung weight. so im guessing that's where he's getting it from.
