Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act
Look it up, read up on it and then you'll understand what it takes to void a car warranty.

There is no simple answer to your question.

Cold Air Intake,?? it could if it sucks in water or birds or causes a problem with your car probably wouldn't void the warranty on say your stereo or brakes
Exhaust?? it could if it melts your bumper or catches the car on fire probably won't void the warranty on say the tires or front seats
Chip??chips are bad. especially if your intake sucks them in to the engine

Any Insight????
Any Honda Insight would void my warranty

Basically, according to the warranty act, the dealership would have to prove that whatever failed was a DIRECT cause of the modification you made in order to void your warranty.

I'm pretty sure that in some states, spelling it warrenty will void your warranty.

US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312:
Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).

Just do what I did. When I totalled my MR2 I just removed anything questionable and then sent it in. Plus, then you get to sell those parts and make some money back. Just keep the stock parts.

Most of this is true, but in addition you might search around because there are a fair number of people here who have had issues with their warranty for almost every aftermarket part. Even if it had NOTHING to do with what failed.
