04 Rx-8 starting to mod more and questions.
I'd like to tune my Rx-8 and I forgot what aftermarket engine management systems were available. I know there used to be only one specifically for rotary's, maybe there is a used one for sale?
It's got a new stage - 3 clutch, and it'll have a full exhaust; Greddy catback + I'm going to do an intake even though the stock ones look sweet, I'd like to also change the gearing and have stuff for that. What are some pointers at this point? It's got stock parts otherwise and I'm thinking cooling systems next, I've seen a larger oil pan out there, does anyone know what the height clearance is on those? Intercooler / dimensions or Oil cooler or radiators?
I really think I should get an EMS and make this a finished project.
Also, what transmission fluid is recommended?

Google can help you remember what was forgotten
There's MazdaEdit and Versatune are the current options. But if your engine is basically stock there is little to be gained from this, perhaps oil injection rate increase.
The rest of your list makes no sense. What are your goals for the car? Are you experiencing cooling issues? How about ignition coils?
Trans fluid: again plenty of threads on this, avoid GL5 at all costs, Redline MT90 or Motorcraft something or other are the common ones.

If you want to upgrade the cooling system, you can upgrade to a CSF 3164 radiator, it drops right in and will provide adequate cooling even racing in hot climates. You can upgrade the fans as well, as the stock ones slow down with time.
This car has no intercooler, and replacing the oil coolers is not practical/beneficial. The larger oil pan, likewise, might be interesting if you're boosted, but is a lot of money for no benefit on an otherwise stock car.

GReddy/GREX Oil Cooler Kits help prolong the life of your oil and in turn your internal engine components. Hard driving causes higher engine temperatures. GReddy/GREX oil coolers are an excellent addition, and are especially effective in harsh driving environments. By using a similar inner-fin core design as our famous intercoolers, we are able to increase oil capacity, decrease oil temperatures, and extend engine and oil life.
