if the 6 ports were turned into huge 4 ports, i could see that, alots of grinding, and manifold matching, IF it would work, haven't seen a 4 port in person yet.

And these guys know they're stuff, and would be more then capable of a 6port to 4 port conversion.

Defined would be the place to go if you wanted a 4 port motor to flow like a 6 port, theres probably alot of timing to gain at intake closing on the 4 ports,

And like i said
ALL PREVIOUS TURBO ROTARYS ARE 4 PORTS

With no AVP, or AUX PORTS, 5th6th blah blah, there is no disrubtion of flow at change over.

SOME of you guys treat the 4port like they're soo inferior. You really don't even know the dynamics of it.

Edit: I'll add that after looking over some 4 port manifolds, I'll say that I personally could adapt a 4 port manifold with injectors, to a 6 port engine. Don't see why Logan at defined would have trouble with it, he's far more talented then I. SEE Here

I think it is more the combination of this setup and how the electronics are designed to work vs. anyone putting down 4 port engines.

Yep boosted 4 ports dont have to deal the AUX ports and one less stage of injectors to deal with. I wouldn't say inferior, just that the real world usage of a 4port and 6port are a little different. To most on THIS forum 4ports suck ***** especially mated to a slushbox.

Agreed on that. The OP would be in for many fewer headaches, and tuning issues down the road if the shortblock and intake manifold was replaced with a 6 port motor.
