I was referring to a better solution as far as something that is very user friendly and has every addition that MM and the other guys have been wanting. Kind of like a K-Pro if your familiar with the RSX.
I understand tuning is the most crutial part, I think I would have no problems with that since Rotary Performance is about 25 minutes from me.
Another problem I was referring to is seeing a CEL all the time, I wouldnt want to see that crap. Plus something that allows you to not have to hack your wiring harness up is always nice as well.

What tuning issues?
The thing with tunning is it is either tuned or it is not.
I don't have any issues with Int-X. I don't think MM has issues with Emanage, other than "I wish I could also do this..."
AP will be just another tool to help you tune.
Will it have more capabilities? Probably.
But adding functionality always adds complexity, so you'd need deeper understanding.
Going too lean under boost with AP is going to blow your engine same way as going lean under boost with Int-X or EMU...
You guys get so excited over a new product, hoping it'll just magically solve your problems, but it won't. You still need to tune, remember? The only thing that will solve your tunning issues is to actually learn how to do it.

They are actually going to finish this up for the RX-8? Amazing. Wonder how the MS3 project is coming... but there is little doubt on an AP for that car seeing as Trey has one. The poor MS6 got left in the cold...

From my little bit of looking over at their site, the MS6 wouldn't be that far behind. It seemed like it wasn't the actual "hacking" and tuning of the car, it was the creation of the "Gizmo" to do it and interface with the Mazda system that took so long. I can imagine once the MS3 and Rx8 units started selling, the MS6 and maybe even CX7 wouldn't be far behind.
I'm very curious to see this product out, as I have essentially decided I wasn't going to mod my car until I could get htis. It seems like NA doesn't produce enough gains, and FI is a mess without a reliable ECU tuner, so... MIght as well keep my engine, normal, protected by warranty until a better option arrives.

They had it fully operational at last year's SEMA. They said its release was mere weeks away.
They had it fully operational when I was at their shop in August. They said its release was mere weeks away.
I suspect they will have it fully operational at this year's SEMA. I'm sure they will say release is mere weeks away.
Intellectual property law is a b*tch.

Now that makes some sense... it would have been nice if Trey have vaguely hinted at that... basically anything better than "it's just a few weeks away" or "it'll be out next quarter" or "it's because we don't have enough engineers for all the projects..."
You get the drift...

His most recent post is similar to what I thoght. Still working on a HArdwaree issue for all Mazda's. Mazda release will be in the order Rx8- MS3- MS6... But they all fall behind the Evo's.
It seems liek the turtle slow process is still progressing, and the rumors on the site say Evo units are being shipped... They are now listed on the main site as well. May not be too long.
