AccessTUNER Race for RX8 Released!!!

Like me, he is one of the "unfortunates" that doesnt have a USDM RX-8 and therefore doesnt have the AP. I am assuming he is wanting the PDF to help him research the 1 in a million chance that Cobb actually respond to the international market.
rotarenvy, I have tried on multiple occasions with Cobb and even tried MM. I have offered my ECU and various other things and had nothing in over 12 months. If you hear anything let me know.

go to edit -> configure options
go to the logging tab and select what you want logged
go to ecu - > datalogging to begin....
datalogging will appear at the bottom tool bar
go to ecu -> datalogging to quit
a viewer will pop up to display the data
a csv file will be in your cobb accessport race tuner directory folder

I wasn't going to install this because I have an accessport with a map from MazdaManiac and I know they are not compatible. With that said, I could use some clarification:
I would really like to do some datalogging. Is it possible to uninstall the MM maps, install the AccessTUNER software and do some logging, and then re-install the MM map? I'm assuming it's NOT possible to do logging with my custom MM map active? Thanks....

Just install the software. In the ATR program open up a Cobb map to satisfy the Cobb software. Download the correct driver. From there do as I had instructed before...
It will datalog even with an MM map installed. They key difference being if you do something like a map trace you will not be tracing the right info as the map in the ATR and your ECU are not the same.
I do not believe any maps in the RX8 are "realtime" maps so there is no chance of corrupting your tune in the ECU as the only way to change things in the ECu is to do a complete reflash (which can only be done with the AP).

ok so now I'm totally confused?? By installing the racetunner I have changed something that is hendering MM tunes from doing something right?? With this data logging feature, I can just datalogg and save the csv. file then shouldn't I be able to attache it send it then be done till I get get a reply from jeff? Or will I have to keep using the efiprologger and some how create a readable graph using works program? If so CALLING SHELLDUDE-I need help creating a graph.

ATR does not make anything inoperable, nor does it change anything with any calibrations by default without you actually changing something. Just connect your laptop using the dongle/usb cable, datalog, and do whatever you need to do with the logs once you're done.

Ok I installed the access tuner and the firmware before knowing it was not compatible with MM's maps. I have a map currently flashed on my ECU and when I plugged in my AP to my OBD port yesterday it gave me an error like if the cable was wrongly connected or something. Has this happened to anyone else?

Ok just to make things clear I can see the file after I logg it but I have been through every single AP file and no saved data. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure it's not automaticaly saving anything. can someone give me step by step info as to where this directory file is?

ahh found it!! had to go through ATR - select view from the tab menu, select data log viewer, select file open data log, go into my computer, c drive, program files, accessport then access tunner race. I cant see the loggs by just going thru my C drive and serching for the files you have to actually open the race tunner program.
