Adaptronic select issue

Adaptronic select issue
Recently purchased and installed an adaptronic select Ecu for my 2005 Mazda rx8. Tried to test everything and make sure all my sensors were working but found I can’t get my aem wideband sensor to connect over the serial in port. Went into Eugene and set the analogue input to none and set serial input to aem uego and still couldn’t read the afr data. Is there something I’m missing here?

Afaik the only gauge you can connect with the select are the innovate ones
with aem you can use the analog output of the gauge. Youll need to wire the 0-5v output of the gauge to a input wire of the ecu(splice into the harness)

there are multiple threads on this for RX7Club, TurboMiata, etc. about how to wire it properly.
here is one, I saw a lot of different ways, but would tend to place my trust in Shawn:

make sure you read through the entire thread first

I have the same issue (sort of). I tried to log my Innovative wide-band through my serial in through my select unit. It constantly drops signal and is very sketchy. I ended up just logging it through the analog output through the spare input (APV). But I can do this since I don't use the APV. (REW).
I tried 3 different cables to fix the issue and nothing worked. So either its the innovative output signal or the Adaptronics unit.... I would bet on the Adaptronics....

Update: Figured out aems wiring diagram isn’t right for an analog serial connection. The proper connection as told from Adaptronic and rx7club members who run the adaptronic is
Tip - no connection
Ring - AEM serial out
Sleeve - ground,
