APEX RX-8 Programmer?

http://www.obdscan.net/RX8_PGM.htm

Is this fake or real?

The last part about rpm and map make sense and are alittle bit the same as Unichip Q mapping but there you dont need to figure out the hex numbers for tuning hehe

I love hexadecimal, I used to get unlimited weapons and money in Diablo by hacking my save file.

Lol. Now, imagine that times 50 or 60 thousand.
Now, imagine that one misplaced "D8" bricks your PCM or blows your motor.

You guys are doing it too easy for yourself. Its mutch more fun to figure out a correct map in hexadecimal code.
;-)

I was most interrested in if the diagnose tool for the OBD2 port was working.

Yes, both CANScan and Hymee's Scanalizer (sp?) are good useful products.

In my opinion, Hymee can program a PCM which is how this thread started. I've seen the results of his work and he has had Beta sites reflashing their cars for many months.

Of course, Cobb does a very nice job with the AP.

Has anyone reprogrammed their car with a CANScan based solution? Did it work? How long did it take?
